This has been long overdue, but here they are: The collected slides (and some photos) of the Gamification Workshop at CHI in Vancouver on May 7, 2011. Videos and more to follow. Enjoy! Continue reading
This might be late for some, but the MindTrek conference, a small Scandinavian conference gem on “social media, ambient/ubiquitous media, games, media management and open source”, running September 28-30 2011, has just extended its deadline for full and short papers to June 12. This year’s games track features “gamification, funware and playful designs” as one topic in the call this year, so this might be something. All proceedings got into the ACM Digital Library, with additional edited books and journal special issues for selected papers.
Good news: Following several requests by colleagues, we have decided to extend the deadline of submissions to the gamification workshop at CHI 2011 for two weeks.
The new dates are:
- Submission deadline: January 28, 2011
- Notification of acceptance: February 25, 2011
We hope that reduces the stress level of everyone and allows you to give that final polish to your papers.
We’re delighted to announce that our proposal for a one-day workshop on gamification at the CHI 2011 in Vancouver (May 7-12, 2011) has been accepted.
